Photographer’s Note
I’ve just been digging through my folder of negatives and found this shot of ewes lambs on a bracken covered slope I took on my parents farm about 10 years ago.
Today I have scanned the negative at 2400 dpi using my HP ScanJet 5470c, chucked into The GIMP 2 and ran a mild unsharp mask, cropped, resized and minimally JPEGed.
From what I can remember of Welsh this is a fairly bright and dry day. The trees in the background are mostly blackthorn, I think.
Where I stood to take this is on a footpath running by the river Granell that is a tributary of the Teifi, a major river in this part of Wales.
