Photographer’s Note
My wife took this photo on a nice day out to a botanical garden in Cardiff. I cropped the photo as the original one was to much to the side, I also applied some sharpening, set the brightness and contrast on +15 and +5. I have also set the hue and saturation levels(yellow) on +5 to bring out the yellow pollen in the middle.

Not until I opened this picture could I see the true beauty of this capture. DoF is used to great effect here Jannie. Great shot.

What a beautiful photo; I love the way the DOF highlights the flower on the left even while blurring it. I also like that everything is slightly off-centre. Great effort!
