Photographer’s Note
Like many other places in the world, coastal erosion is taking its toll. Barra in the Western Isles is no exception. Nets strung between posts help to slow down the advance of the sand to allow grasses time to provide a longer term solution.In the background rainclouds scurry in from the Atlantic giving contrast to the near white sand.
