Photographers Note
After "Torus Dominicus" taken in Dubrovnik, i found this one on my PC. It is again the wide angle which gives this wide toroid section effect of a closed place.
The place is a long pedestrian overcross leaning over a busy highway. It was close to my conference venue, so that i could take this photo during the lunch break. The reason why i took attention of the cyclist is maybe i was taking a photo with my suit on. Possibly, i was looking quite ridiculous.
.........

Nice graphical shot taken IMHO at the right median place. Thanks to the biker slightly OOF due to motion, for the dynamism included
Very well done

Love the symmetry with the biker to add tension to the shot. Also, good choice of BW on emphasis geometric shapes. Furthermore, wide angle lens increases perception of depth.
Well done!!!

Somewhat similar to the last post deniz..i like this better than the last one actually..not because you are chasing men this time..gives the impression that you were on a cycle too and after him like the paparazzi !!!
You had positioned yourself well for this one..pre-visualized should i say..

Great pov, the double perspective widens the view, since the closest person isn't moving I wishit were a tad bit sharper

that's a splendid idea, this "mirrored" underground...
what interests me is how the rider turned here - this seems to be more than 90 degrees corner....

Hi Deniz
great job on your 10-20 mm zoom, really, I like it alot! The cyclist looking at you is really something strong, I think that, if he never looked at you, this pic would have be a bit different.
Congratulations on this job!

Hello Mr Taskin,
I like the pov, gives a strong feeling of how this place looks and feel. That's the kind of feeling you want in your pics when traveling.
hey, weren't you tempted to try this one with a slower shutter speed so as to make this cyclist look fuzzier. I think I don't really like that he's looking at you. I like a photographer to be "invisible" (on most occasions) and here, you're a character in the compo because he's looking at you...plus, I think it would look good. period. However, reading the other critiques from the "pros" of this site, I'm probably just imagining things, so don't worry!
take care my friend,
Marc

Merhaba, Deniz -
All good photographers get stared at a lot - we are seeing things no one else notices and they can't figure out why.
Like this one: At first I wondered if perhaps it was a Photoshop effort, but now I see what it was you spotted. And of course waiting for the cyclist to get into position is the mark of a serious photographer.
I normally don't like long narrow framing, but this one works perfectly for the image.
Best,
Dan

love the symmetry and lines on this. black and white works well. this would have been a great shot by itselt but it's perfect with the bicyclist adding a sense of motion and interest in the frame.

Hello Deniz
Continuing with your wide angle series...your favourite theme of light and shadows again...works well in stark B&W. Funny part is the bicycle guy, who seemed to have braked suddenly seeing a guy in a suit suspiciously taking photographs. Strange effect this has on the eyes, almost sucking us into a vortex...problem is there are two;-). Another fine one!...though I might have wished the bicycle guy was not motion blurred
Best,
Angshu

Missed that one Deniz and now simply adore.. everything see ms so natural, lines, symmetry.. complexed construction provides us with endless perspective which gives almost unreal impression.. What we, photographers, will achieve without the man..? Also this time, the bicycle rider steals the show! It's brilliant that you found one who had such an unusual sense of composition that he turned back just in the right moment!:)

Salut Deniz,
This kind of POV is generally reserved for photographing the cloister of churches.
And there is a funny relationship with these modern arches.
You were perfectly placed to take the photo, the symmetry is excellent. Beautiful frame also.
Great shot, bravissimo!
Diane
