Turquoise Delight - Fairy Pools, Isle of Skye

A series of clear, cold pools and waterfalls formed as Allt Coir' a' Mhadaidh tumbles down from the foothills of the Black Cuillins into Glen Brittle. The water in the pools is bright turquoise due to the mineral deposits in the rocks.

The location of the Pools beneath the looming bulk of the Cuillins is wonderful, and the drama of the waterfalls and the sinuous beauty of the rock formations carved by the falling water give the Fairy Pools a magical feel.

I was just looking at your last post(fantastic place) but it seems it has been removed it, maybe by you?

This one too is excellent and I like the partial desaturation and the silky effect on the water due to a long exposure. The turquoise water and the menacing sky are looking great!
