Photographer’s Note
We had started out with a cloudy day visiting Doune Carloway Broch. After a walk and some lunch the sun came out and we had a brief stop at this restored Norse Mill and Kiln. It' s a short walk from the parking lot which is right off the coast road. There is a small stream running past it that powers the mill. The Outer Hebrides were more Norse than Scot in the Viking Age. The light and sky were great and I've several photos from the area.
