Photographer’s Note
Gress sands on the east coast of Lewis. This was taken using our little Kodak 'point & shoot' on a cold, crisp and windy winter's morning when walking the beach.
I liked the fact that the receding tide had left shallow pools of water in which we can catch shards of the buildings reflection.

Hi Seonaid,
Welcome to TrekEarth :D
This is a really good first shot-whatever camera you used.
You've really captured the crisp light of winter & as you say the reflection adds another point of interest.
Good work & hope you keep sharing.
Regards, David Cortez.

Hi Seonaid,
welcome to TE, I'm sure you'll enjoy the experience and I know you'll view many wonderful images. This is a lovely first post and well composed with the ruin just off centre. The pool of water reflects it well and the image is sharp and detailed. My only minor point is the contrast needs a tweek, I've put it to workshop, see what you think, but it doesn't spoil the overall effect, It's a very lovely shot, well done.
Regards
Steve

A great start to TE. Love the colours and that little reflection makes it for me!
