rural scotland without the heathers and mountains..the rolling uplands in west lothian above the river forth. good for sheep, farming, and general grazings. a lot of farmers are selling out to build timeshare. a salmon fishery is nearby.

Very nice comp here Geof. As I said I am not really into taking this style but I do like them. The simplicity and POV are very good here. I like the tree placed to one side. Nice if it could have been balanced but I like to break the rules sometimes. Actually quite often. Unfortunately my pics are a mixture of all sorts but what I do try to achieve is a good composition.

Very clean, simple and nice composition. Also technically well handled - it is nice to see the shot with correct EV of clouds :-)

Beautifull with these dramatic clouds in the background of this tree. the contrast is great.
I'm not a big fan of frames. I would prefer this photo without one.
