Sometimes you have to stop what you are doing, stop the camera doing what its doing and move it to the best position to capture nature...

I was approx a 3rd of the way through another long exposure image when i spotted these clouds forming along the skyline.
I released the shutter back down and moved the camera into position on the Pier.
The camera is on a fully extended tripod here with the body and lens tipped about 30degs down to get the horizon just so and the elongation of the pier just right.
The hardest part was making sure i didn't get the legs in the frame.
Taken on the same shoot as the last one but about 25 mins before

53 second exposure (100 seconds less than the last one which gives you an idea how much the light levels changed)
ND10 stop B+W
