Dunure Castle, situated on the South Ayrshire coast.
Like many other scottish castles, this has a turbulent history. Built in the 13th century, eventual stronghold of the Kennedy Clan [ the Scottish one]
a silent [but not spared] witness to battles and to gory deeds[ such as the "roasting" on fire of an opponent by one of its erstwhile owners, Gilbert Kennedy ]. The victim seemingly survived the ordeal but was unable to walk again. The Culprit went on to perform other suitable crimes.
One of its other claims to fame seems to be the visit of Mary , Queen of Scots for 3 days from August 1563, and must have certainly spent at least some of her time enjoying the wonderful Coastal scenery.

You've caught this scene in the beautiful late evening light of summer. The only time I visited this place, it was crowded with people everywhere in mid-afternoon and there were no real prospects of a decent photograph at all!
But the light here is really lovely, its warm colour and low angle really bringing out all the details and textures of the castle so very well. And the warm colours of the castle contrast perfectly with the pale blue sea and the interesting and softly coloured sky.
Excellent composition, perfect exposure and superb details and sharpness.

a very good result, I like the wide format (16:9?), that gives a lot of space to the sea, the castle seems to be sitting on the cliff, watching out for someone to come home. Beautifuf colors!
