Photographer's Note

view from culzean castle grounds of the island ailsa[ale-sa] craig in the South Ayrshire coast. It was near sunset. The island is thought to be all that remains of a volcano that became extinct millions of years ago.
I had converted it to a neutral colour for my original post, but decided it was much better if i used the original colour. I also cropped the upper part.

Lovely pov over the immaculate grass towards the interesting island. I like the way the eye stops on the objects on the grass, the atmosphere created by the billowing clouds and the soft light.

Stunning colors. Almost unreal.
The island could not be more centered. Generally not a good thing, but here I have the impression it works very well.

This is a lovely picture.

I know that all the rules tell us that we are not supposed to put the main subject in the centre nor is the horizon supposed to divide the picture almost exactly into two parts, but in this case it just works perfectly!

Wonderful colours and contrasts - the dramatic sky contrasts well with the peaceful foreground.

Right from the old school days Enid Blyton novels...
The Famous Five often use to run down such green valleys and cross the sea to a dark stony island.
Loved the color variations and light effect in the photograph.

HEllo Manoj, the Re-post is in my pinion much much better than the original. The crop improve the balance of the composition and the warm colors (maybe a bit to saturated) give more expression to the image. Good work.

Beautiful landscape photo Manoj, the horizon and the island are perfectly set in the centre of the photoframe. Although you might have changed the original colour, the lighting still seems perfect.

Hi Manoj!

I really liked the colors in this one, the calm scene and the peacefulness as well. Did you use any filters for this one, especially for the skies? I find the darkened tip of the trees unnatural and the horizon a bit tilted. Anyway, great capture regardless!
