Photographer’s Note
Today a black and white landscape shot. Taken on Burra Isle in the Shetland Isles facing due west out into the Atlantic.
The weather was quite calm, but with a strongly contrasting elements in the sky and sea, the monchrome version of this scene looks more dramatic than it's colour counterparts.
Used a polarizer and graduated filter.
Thanks for looking
Craig

Hi Craig,
This one has a good mood to it!
I also appreciate the strong contrast as you write it in your note. Pleasant to look at.

Hello Craig,
Very good use of long shutter speed to obtain this nice move and dynamism. I like this strong contrast obtained that makes the scene more dramatic.
Have a nice day.
Best regards, Christian

Hi Craig,
I like the old feeling of the BW with the high contrast and the dark details. Good conversion!!
Congrats,

The B&W is a study in mood and textures that can expand the eye to see better, so to speak, as a photographer. I think you have a nice one here, a tad underexposed on my monitor, but the lesson remains. Nice!
Regards,
Kathy
