Photographer’s Note
At Jarlshof, an archaeological site near Sumburgh that dates back as far as several thousand years, it's possible to explore inside some of the dwellings that have been excavated. As some of these buildings are underground, being inside leaves one at eye level with the surrounding vegetation, and that's how this picture was composed.
