Photographer’s Note
An older shot, taken in Winter 06/07
Warn winter light and a rare, calm winter evenin (probably around 3pm!)
Shot with a grad to allow detail in the foreground to be retained. Sun was a 90 degress, so their is a lot of light difference from left to right

Hello Craig,
Superbe prise de vue, j'aime bien la lumière sur les rochers du premier plan. La vue sur la mer et le ciel est de toute beauté.

Yes I'm sure the sun was well on its way down at 3pm so far north. Winter light is good most of the time (as long as the sun puts in an appearance ;D) but just before setting it can be gorgeous just like you prove here. I love how it's catching the right side of the rocks and your low POV shows it to advantage. Good use of the grad.

Hi Craig
Very simple, you are very good for producing such neutral colours with a excellent subtle light. Detail is also superb with very complimenting cloud formations.
Regards
Jim
