Leaving Lerwick (III) Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is the end of our short stay in the Shetlands. In workshop 1, this is my last view of Statsraad Lehmkuhl tied to the pier in Lerwick Harbour.
In workshop 2, we are leaving the pier, always a moment of nostalgia since this is also leaving the ground for a two days cruise and the weather promises to be rainy like the way in.
And the main post here shows the helm manned for the harbour manoeuvers.

A good photo from the ship with many details to look at. I like to see the city still in the background. The people that seem to be waiting are a great inclusion too. Well captured!

Hallo Emmanuel!
What an unfamiliar world for a landlubber! Your picture "abducts" the viewer on board amidst a lot of special devices. A interesting and a bit confusing photo for someone like me. My competent eyes tell me though that everything is very well kept! ;-)
