Clickimin broch (IV) Photo

Photographer’s Note

My last three views of Clickimin broch, a prehistoric fortress just outside Lerwick. This is a view of the surrounding walls, taken from the top of the broch, with the lake in the background.
In worhshop, two other views of the inside, which will give you an idea of the size of the building, since the inside walls are heigh enough for a man to stand up.

Ma parole! Comme les vestiges de cette vieille forteresse sont agréables à regarder. Les fondations, les escaliers et les passages se retrouvent désormais envahis par ce gazon d'un vert splendide. Excellente netteté et très beau point de vue.

It is amazing how well preserved these structures seem to be!
Interesting details, I notice the uprised plates on the lawn inside...
Good point of view to depict the structure, well composed with fine details!

interessant ce site, bon POV qui donne une idée de l'endroit et son environement au bord de la mer, avec les photos complémentaires on a le droit à une bonne visite avec ces angles de vues différents

Thank you for showing this most interesting and impressive ruins. This picture caught my eyes - even as a thumbnail. In combination with the ws photos a very good contribution in the sense of TrekEarth!

Ah Emamnuel,
je l'aime bien celle là, sorte de labyrinthe.
C'est du très bon rendu, celui des couleurs et des lumières, mais aussi la netteté.
Bien cadrée avec un peu de mer à l'arrière plan.
Excellent week-end.
