Photographer’s Note

To finish the serie on Statsraad Lehmkuhl during her stay in Lerwick Harbour, two views showing the fine decoration on the rear and one side view (where unfortnatly the ship is partly hidden by the pier). Apart from the Norvegian flag, you will notice the ble color of the hull part underwater, which is common to Norvegian ships but otherwise unusal (anti-fouling paint being mostly red, sometimes green but rarely light blue.
These are not very good pictures, but I have rather few of the ship (which was the reason of the voyage) thus I posted them tonight.
Tomorrow, we will make a little trip backward in time in the Viking fortress of Sumburg.
