Photographer’s Note

My first two views of the Shetlands: the bay of Lerwick, with the small light tower marking the entrance. The harbour and town are on the other side of the bay, more or less behing me here. The first part of the voyage is over, not a very good souvenir due to the bad weather and it nice to see a bit (a very little bit) of sun behind the clouds and to think that a solid ground is waiting for us...

Additional comment: the two images are a bit grainy, since Neatimage would not work on these unegal surface... So the images have only minimal postprocessing here.
