Another shot from a set of sunset photos I posted back in April.

Shot with a 1 second shutter speed to maintain some movement in the water.

Shot facing due west at around 8pm on the Island of Burra in the Shetland Islands.

I like this, very well composed with the rocks perfectly placed and the swirling water a great effect. The subtle colours compliment the scene well as does the lighting. Excellent capture.

Hi Craig! Very nice to see you around. How's life? :)
I like the muted colors on this one very much. The curly sky is also a great detail. The composition is also very good with that stream of water flowing into the bottom right corner. That improves the reading a lot. I start there, go to the opposite side, turn right above the rocky shore and end in the sky. Good! One small detail: I would have cloned the dark cloud on the top of the curly sky. It distracts a bit. Put your thumb over it and see. Nice to have you back.

I just had a look over your recent photos, can't believe this has only scored 10!

The composition is perfect and your technical expertise is unquestionable with just the right shutter speed for the shot.
