Photographer’s Note
The North Sea from a small cove near Coldingham, Berwickshire. Not Coldingham Bay, could be a smuggler's cove maybe. A quiet place but easily accessible. After sunset and before the full moon rose at the turn of the tide, incoming, hence wet feet.

Hi Doug,
Great composition. Keeping the comp (and the colors) simple really makes it a great shot to look at. I am really keen on the nice dark water near the horizon...it creates a great seperation of sky/water.
haha, i wrote a whole thing about making it a longer exposure, but edited it out when i saw it was a 90 sec exposure...silly me.....haha
Thanks for showing and have a great day.

Beautiful, Dougie!
The composition is simple, but flawless, just awesome color and the water is so calm it looks as if it could be frozen. And this was AFTER sunset????? Man, that's fabulous. Many thanks and warm regards,

Hi Doug,
Excellent composition. As some other writers have noted, the simplicitiy of the composition really is its strength. Thanks for sharing.
