Photographer’s Note
In a quiet, dusty corner of Old Parish Church of Peebles I came across these old organ pipes, lying scattered over the pews. It seems the organ has been re-piped (if that's a word!) and the old ones looked forlornly abandoned on the dusty pews.
The newly refurbished organ did look fabulous though.
It was very dark so despite the relatively long exposure I managed a reasonably sharp picture.
There's a photo of the new pipes here -
The Old Parish Church of Peebles, at the end of the High Street, is a building worth going into if you are in the area, and it was very warmly heated - unusual for a church these days.
A photo of the new organ can be found here Looking Brand New

Interesting as a record, Alastair. The dust comes over well - I want to sneeze when I look at it!
In my amateur opinion it would have more impact with a tighter crop and some dulling of the white patch of sunlight, though on the other hand, I can see the attraction of including the two red objects. Clever handling of the exposure.
