Photographer’s Note

At last, we have some snow.
Not welcome by all though as this view down the first fairway at Torwoodlea Golf Course shows. The course is positioned such that it catches superb lighting in summer evenings and most of the day at this time of year. There is more snow forecast for the rest of the week. February can be a wild month hereabouts.

Shot at ISO 400 by mistake, resized, cropped and sharpened.

Bonjour Dougie,
simplement magnifique, un terrain de golf sous cette fine neige, et le vallonnement léger est empreint de jeux de lumières et d'ombres.
Les arbres tranchent bien sur une photo bien nette.

I like this one. It is a very attractive composition. Simple and elegant. I love the contrast of snow and dark BG with those pretty trees completing the picture.

Hello Dougie.
An interesting shot. The barren nature fo the shot reflects that feeling one gets just after the snow falls...a crisp quietness. The simple tress and the textures that the sand traps create add a extraterrestrial feel to this photo. A planet with trees very much like our own, but watch out...there are giant bugs in the depressions.
