Photographer’s Note
Trans-Atlantic jets taking the great polar circle route to North America from Europe pass over Scotland before heading north west to Greenland and beyond.
Heer a tiny flicker of light plays on the vapour trail of a jet above the Perthshire mountains which appear high above a blanket of cloud that kept the lower parts of the Tay basin in cloud all day yestreday.
To my mind this picture shows up the beauty and inter- connectivity of out plant at its best; where was that plane going?
