Photographer’s Note

Nature at its best, with autumn colours just starting to creep onto the trees. I wanted to take this photo before the loch was taken over by electric cables and lights for the yearly Enchanted Forrest spectacular (a must to see for anyone). The tree encompasses the scene perfectly and those with very good eyesight will notice the fisherman sitting on the side of the loch.

Hello, Lorna,

This looks like a lovely spot for photography!

A fine picture with lovely autumnal colours and nice water reflections. I just thought it might benefit from a little lightening of the shadows on the left and some more detail in that sky, so I'm going to inflict a little workshop on you. In the end, you might well prefer the original!
