The ocean liner Queen Elizabeth 2.
Yesterday she visited Greenock, on the river Clyde where she was built exactly 40 years ago.
This will be her last visit to the Clyde.
I believe she is sold, in about a years time will be berthed in Dubai as a hotel ship.(From BBC T.V.Reports.) She is still showing cruise,s into 2009.
So this may or may not be true.
The QE 2 is on a tour round the U.K. ports.
Today 21st Sept 07 she is in Liverpool.
Hopefully, it will be a better day regarding weather.
Yesterday it was very dull, raining with very strong wind. Not the best of days for taking photos.
She left Greenock 18.00 hours this photo was taken at Gourock at about 18.45 hours.
Hoping that some better photos from Liverpool.
Sharpened a little, also lightened. |
