Photographer’s Note

Yesterday, I went to the waterfront.
Here it was cold, + 6 C with rain showers,Seagull birds looking for food as the tide was out. In summer this is a nice area, pleasant to walk.
I often look at Brazil photos on TE. I wonder what they think of this cold day, compaired to the lovely beach photos I see there.

Interesting picture.
Beautiful colors although the weather is sunny.
This is typical of the weather. I was me last year in Scotland, but I had time but how much.

Hi Robert,

the cold atmosphere is there. The cloudy sky and the grey tones enhace that idea. The horizon line seems to be well placed in the frame. Nicely composed. Great job!

That´s quite different of the waterfront which I posted yesterday from Tamandaré (Pernambuco,Brazil)!

Hello Robert,
The epitome of a cold winter's day. I like the point of view with the curving shoreline; the incoming waves make interesting lead lines taking us towards the distant mountains. Fine colours and clarity. Great atmosphere, well done.

with only f/5.0 you got such nice dof! i prob would have tried a larger f value to obtain a better dof! but then it looks wonderful. The details of the building windows, the cars, and the seagulls, everything appear to be in focus. great pov also!
