Stephen,
the strong elements here is the side light that you attentioned it and captured the view in a perfect time.this made for you a great situation of the shadow on the background and light on subjects,a good play of the light and shadow you had and you used it perfectlly with your great result, well composed and nicely done.
Best Regards

Wonderful composition! Theree is so much to see on it. The yellow at the fg works very good to iluminate more this scene. Good choice of POV that creates a well balanced composition.

Hello Stephen,
my beloved place again. I did not manage to take a good picture though playing with exposure for a long time - to contrasted light conditions.
Great colours and light.
Thanks for sharing

This is a real stunner! The colour and contrast are brilliant, really giving this a lot of "pop" and instant visual appeal. I like the composition too, with the castle to one side and the bridge leading to it on the other side. Excellent work!

Hello Stephen,
It looks like the water is choked up a fair bit with that floating weed. It needs a bit of a flood to wash it away so you can capture the perfect reflections of this castle. It reminds me of the similar castle on the banks of Lock Ness. I like how the comparatively dark background highlights the front-lit structure. I like the two sections of blue, being under the bridge and to the right. They provide some extra colour tones to the photo. Great sharpness, the Eos 400 looks like a dream.

Hi Stephen
This is a very beautiful place. People chose well for building their castles. The vegetation in the water is very colourful. I would have just rubbed out the white objets to keep a unified yellow. I like the way the castle is lit and the background dull so it stands out more.
