Via via XII: From our latest holidays in the UK:
Back again for a new view on the Quiraing on the Trotternish peninsular.
We walked for about 4 miles in 3 hours. Not that the walk is a difficult one, especially with the right shoes, weather proof coats and stocks, but you HAVE TO stop and enjoy the spectacular views many time. This is really a walk I would recommend to everyone and the weather does not matter because every moment is different, the colours, shadows, sunshine change constantly and give it that special moody and atmospheric feeling...
Trotternish is one of the most spectacular landscapes in Britain. The great ridge which forms its backbone is the longest on Skye, and its unique eastern escarpment has been broken by Europe's largest landslides into a remarkable landscape. The coastline is equally spectacular, bristling with stacks and pinnacles, its hidden features revealed only by walking.

A well composed photo showing the dramatic landscape. I assume the brown areas are the giant landslide deposits. Good colours and sharpness.

Awesome brown and greenish tones here ! It's really representative of scotland i guess...
The composition works fine even if i think sharpness could be raised

Beautiful mountainous landscape of Scotland. The pattern of colors of early spring made this photo very interesting. Well done with good quality.
