Near the village of Plockton, a home located on the shore of Loch Carron.
Plockton is a splendid small village of the Highlands located on the shores of Loch Carron in front of the island of Skye.
They can see in Plockton seals but also... palms.

Bonjour Roger,

at the first look, I thought this is a partial saturation but in fact it's all natural. I like ther effect of the cloudy day against the colorful boats. Well done!

Ciao caro Roger,
guardando la foto nella gallery pensavo tu avessi fatto un esperimento di desaturazione parziale, poi quando ho aperto la foto ho visto che era completamente a colori. Eccellente immagine, con un cielo tipicamente scozzese che si riflette bene sul lago dando una piacevole sensazione drammatica. Leggendo le tue note mi sono tornati in mente i miei piacevoli ricordi dell'isola di Skye, un posto che mi piacerebbe ritornare. Grazie!

bella composizione con un eccellente contrasto cromatico tra il giallo e il rosso delle due barche e il grigio intorno.
Nella miniatura, a prima vista mi era sembrata una foto parzialmente desaturata.

Salut Roger,il y a toute l'atmosphere de l'Ecosse dans ta photo! Le ciel,les couleurs tristes,l'eau noire....une composition casse' seulement par les couleurs des bateaux...vraiment un cadre de grande classe,mes compliments et bonne journee',LUCIANO

Bonsoir Roger,

Les réflexions sur l'eau sont des atouts à la composition. Les mats des bateaux ont un effet graphique. Le manque de luminosité donne des couleurs plus foncées. La prise de vue envoie notre regard vers les montagne ce qui donne de la profondeur à l'image. Bonne soirée.

complimenti sinceri per questa bellissima foto.
Mi piace molto il modo in cui l'hai composta; inoltre i colori delle barche in primo piano contro lo sfondo grigio creano un effetto cromatico molto interessante.

Hi Roger,
I am a lover of wooden boats and this one is a real beauty. Shame on the plastic boat tieing up next to this classic although it adds a nice splash of color.
The glassy surface of the loch cateches wonderful subtle reflection and the distant hills make a beautiful backdrop for this fine image.
