Photographer’s Note
The bad weather on the Old Man of Storr leaded us to take a coach to Staffin. We stopped at Garafad and we took a small path toward the sea. We arrived to a kind of pass and then we went down to Rubha Garbhaig.
From there, you can see Staffin Island and, far away, the cliff on Flodigarry Island.
This picture was taken two hours after my photo of Old Man of Storr (see my gallery) : the weather was completly different even if we were only twenty kilometers to the north. That's Scotland !

Hello,
The depth of field is simply amazing here. Wonderful composition and very good frame. I can feel like I am standing there looking at this lovely landscape. Great done. Congratulations.
Greetings

HI Stephen,
Empty vastness and power .. tremendous place .. the rock face and then the islands let the image continue to pull me back into it .. that is very nice .. I go back and forth on having nothing in the foreground .. on the one hand I think having something near my amplify the dimension further and let me feel more like I am there .. on the other hand .. it might clutter this very effective and powerful emptiness. take care, John
