Très belles couleurs des maisons et aussi des petites reflections dans l'eau. (Je crois qu'il n'y avait pas du soleil à ce moment).
Photo intéressante architecturale et aussi de la vie quotidienne en Ecosse.

Hi Roger,

What an excellent capture Isle of Skye. The colours of the houses are very typical and the rainy day feeling adds an extra dimension to the scene and it proves that a also rainy day and grey clouds could be good for photographing. An excellent photo-job. TFS and have a nice evening!

very good composition. The boat works pretty fine as the invitation and the colorful houses on the back complete the scene. Superb quality in the details and light. I like this, well done!

un quadro che mi è familare e che mi è caro: sono stato a Skye molti anni fa e lo ricordo come uno dei posti più belli.
Bella la fila di case colorate sul molo con la barca in primo piano.

Bonjour Roger,

Le yacht de l'avant-plan dirige notre regard vers les maison qui bordent ble port. La ligne diagonale du mur de pierres est un atout à la composition. La présences des personnes a un effet d'échelle de grandeur. L'éclairage fait ressortir les couleurs pastels des maisons. Bonne journée.

Bonjour Roger,

joli POV sur ce petit port aux maisons de couleurs très British.
La diagonale est bien utilisée sur cette composition, seule la netteté est peut être trop poussée.

Hello Roger,

This shot immediately reminded me of Balamory, from the children's tv programme, that is on the Isle of Mull!
Lovely details of the pretty, pastel coloured houses and the old stone wall.
The boat gives good f/g interest, bobbing in the inky sea.

C'est justement cette enfilade de maisons colorees qui fait le principal interet de la photo, surtout les roses ca met un peu de lumiere dans un tout qui a l'air assez gris, le crop avec le bateau de premier plan est bien vu.

Could easily be mistaken for Ireland, Scotland and Ireland are pretty similar, especially with the gaelic style writing on the hotel. Very good composition with
fresh blues and pinks in the scene. Incredible sharpness overall especially in the rippled water.

Een heel leuke foto van dit Schotse haventje. Een mooie rijtje kleurige huizen met ook een mooie herhaling van alle ramen en vooral de dakkapellen. Die ene boot doet het ook erg goed in de voorgrond. Mooi fotowerk!

A fine composition, where the boat contrast the pastel houses!
A nicely layered presentation, including some activity in the seaside street...
Looks like Pier Hotel may be the place to spend a couple of days!
