Photographer’s Note
Portree - Isle of Skye, NW Scotland.
Portree is the main town on Skye. Its name comes from the Gaelic Port-an-Righ, which translates as "King's Port" and dates to a visit by Englands King James V, plus a fleet of warships, in 1540, to persuade the island clans to support him. Portree had earlier been known as Kiltraglen.
This is a beautiful, small, unspoilt, working sea port. We spent several days based here during our week on the island. This photo was taken in the early morning, to make most use of the clear lighting.
PP - none.

I love this shot, particularly the coloured cottages with their reflections. The branches on the left may be a bit distracting but aside from chopping down the tree there's nothing you can do.

I like the POV and the reflections of the cottages in this one :)

It's a lovely photo David, it seems to have everything, beautiful scenery, nice framing and rich colours. I love the touch with the brances framing the left side of the picture.

David,
A beautiful land- and sea-scape. Gorgeous reflections in the water, and I am fascinated to see pink reflections coming from building faces that look quite yellow straight on. Well done indeed.
Best wishes,
Matt
