hello...people from all over the world come to skye to see this scene...must time's you'll never see it..i was speaking to a guy who said his friend came several times..and never seen it...its always wet and cloudy...enjoy! dale

Not the usual view of The Old Man of Storr, but definitely the only view I'm ever likely to see :-)
I like the idea of including such a large area of sky and cloud to balance the mountainous foreground.
The only problem for me is that the whole image seems to have a bit of a yellow/green colour cast.

There was a programme on tv last night, where a professional photographer was exploring and filming the fantastic scenery of Skye. This was one of his stopovers! It really is a fantastic image! You have shown us a good profile and fine textural details.
I would have preferred more emphasis on the rocks, since that is where the drama is to be found, and there is little happening in the sky. Still, I appreciate personal taste.
