Photographer’s Note
After long break in posting I'm back with some new photographs. This photograph was taken during my recent weekend trip to the magical Isle of Skye in north-west Scotland. I visited Skye many times and even lived there for about a month but it never stops surprise me. Every single time there's something special about it and it is always an excellent location for taking photographs. Weather was absolutely fantastic this time (I haven't been to Skye in summer before), very warm and sunny, even midges didn't spoiled it! Evening was very peaceful and warm when I arrived to B&B in Kyleakin near Skye bridge so after checking-in I took my camera for a walk on the bridge itself. Beautiful views from both sides and the lighthouse below looked just perfect for late-evening shot. It was taken from the Skye bridge looking down at the lighthouse, hand-hold with some support from the bridge. Hoya 62mm Pro1 circular polarizer filter used, a bit of noise reduction and curves adjustment in post processing. I hope You'll like it. Thanks for any critiques, best regards!

Greetings Tomasz,
Simply stunning shot, the stillness of the morning is beautifully captured. Wonderful composition and detail. The image of the Lighthouse leading on to the far off mountains is amazing.
Excellent presentation.

tomasz,
i can never have enough of lighthouses, and this one is particularly charming... the skyline, the colors of the sea, everything blended well for perfect hues of blue. the outline of the mountains on the background completes it. thanks for sharing!

Hello Thomasz,
Excellent composition with the walkway creating diagonal line across the frame, leading one's eye towards the focal point...the lighthouse. The blues, torquoise and soft pink colours create an attractive image. Very well done.
Cheers Grant

Hi Tomasz!!!! I like your POV. Nice colours and composition, just pity that sharpness in foreground is not great because you used just F/5.6. I know you can do it better :)

Great light in this picture and nice point of view: it doesn't happen often to bi higher than a lighthouse!

Thats a real stunner Tomasz.
I believe the low tide, exposing the rocks around the light house is really adding to the picture here.
But also the high pov is a little unusual for a light house picture, as they are usually situated a high point themselves (in Denmark anyway:).
Wonderful picture.

Hi Tomasz, fantastic shot. Love the diagonal line into this composition. Your high pov is excellent placing the lighthouse in the frame. Wonderful backdrop of those mountains and a nice pink tone which contrasts with the blues. Great work.
