Photographer's Note

When you drive through remote areas the only thing that makes them seem less remote is your vehicle. You can be bombing along the road without a care in the world and then your fan belt goes and it makes you realise that you're very small and very helpless without your car. This makes any road trip exciting and it's why I added my vehicle to the shot, also to give it a sense of perspective and a contrast between raw nature and the convenience of modern life.
