PS: obviously it cannot be seen in a 800x600 picture, but the black spots are... seagulls!

Great looking photo! HDR really did the trick here, with the tonality very well balanced across the image. If I have to say anything, I think that the sky may be a little on the dark side, as we are used to see the sky as brighter than the buildings. Excellent colour also, and good composition complete the scene. Well done!

I was there this summer too!!! A lovely place. Unfortunatelly I couldn't take pictures as this one.

I am not a big fan of HDR but I like this shot! Your composition is great using the reflections in the river to create depth and to lead the eye into the shot. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and DOF.

.....mi ritorna in mente quel fantastico e indimenticabile viaggio che feci nel 2003. Bella foto con il Castello sullo sfondo e dai colori inconfondibili del cielo scozzese, ottima luce.

Anche tu hai preso il virus HDR (che è infinitamente meglio che prendere quell'altro dal nome simile!). Mi piace il valore ulteriore dato dai riflessi e dalle piccole macchie di colore qua e là.

Hi sabrina,
Excellent composition. Good lighting even though there were threathening clouds. I had noticed the presence of those seagulls when I was looking at the clouds.
