Photographer’s Note
Sitting on the north shore of Loch Ness, Urquhart castle is a fine sight with great views.Typical changeable Scottish weather makes for some dramatic images....This one lasted for a good 5 minutes.

Hello Paul.
You show here a stunning combination of a well lit foreground and dramatic sky over gloomy background. A good quality photo showing a great deal of this rainbow arch. Nicely done.
Regards,
Andrew

Hello, Paul.
This is Wonderful!
It's not often that we have a camera at the ready when we see a dramatic rainbow like this, but you've captured this one beautifully. It is superb - from the brightly lit foreground to the dark water of the loch and that broody sky: even the little St. Andrew's cross on the flagpole adds to a perfect composition.
If I had to make any criticism at all, it would be that your file size is only 110 Kb - remember that you can go right up to 300Kb and an increase nearer to that limit might just have given your image that little bit more "punch". Still, it's excellent as it is.
Kind Regards,
John.
