Leaving Fort Williams, the road is following the Glen Nevis for a few miles until it reaches the Visitor Center. And then the ascent to the Ben Navis is going to start...

Qu'il doit etre plaisant de sillonner ces petites routes qui sinuent dans ce décor de montagnes verdoyantes . j'aime la profondeur de l'image ; les jeux de lumière et le très beau ciel nuaguex .

Même ciel avec de beaux nuages, longue route qui s'en va vers l'infini

Bonsoir Chris,
Plutôt l'habitude de voir ce type d'image au format horizontal pour renforcer l'impression d'espace, mais le format vertical marche bien ici et le regard se laisse volontiers guider par cette route traversant le glen. Certains préfèrent voir des présences humaines sur ce genre d'image, mais je trouve au contraire que cette absence de présence humaine rend bien l'impression qu'on ressent face à ces paysages des Highlands.

The road invites me, the light delights me, the overall image is perfection--fully capturing the magic and charm of the Scottish countryside. I, too, love the play of brightness and shadows across the landscape as well as the beauty of the sky...

Bon cadrage vertical avec cette route et ses courbes, bon effet de perspective et profondeur d'image, ciel photogénique ente un fond bleu et ces gros nuages blanc, belle luminosité.

this is a stunningly beautiful scottish landscape and you have captued it perfectly. the light and shadows created by the clouds covering the sun are wonderful. your inclusion and positioning of the road really conveys a sense of travel and adventure. an excellent composition full of atmosphere.

i like this rural, bucolic interpretation of the never ending road shot. The clouds, their rolling shadows, the curves and bends of the asphalt smoothen the frontal aspect of this composition.
