Goodbye Fort William Part I (HDR) Photo

Photographer’s Note

I spent the last 14 months living and working in Fort William, Scotland and it was a very good period of my life, especially because my daughter was born during that time and also because of my great love to the local landscape. I am moving to other place soon and I'm going to post some photographs of Fort William area collected over the time as a way to say 'goodbye'. I think I will miss it...
This shot was taken just few days ago from 'Cow Hill' looking towards Fort William and Loch (lake) Linnhe. I don't create HDRs too often, but in this case I think it helped to capture the full range of colours of this vivid sunset. I used 4 RAW shots with different exposures combined into one HDR.

A mnie siê taki HDR podoba, w³a¶nie taki, po którym nie widaæ, ¿e to HDR... nie przesma¿one i tylko trochê wyci±gniête z cieni. No i oczywi¶cie piêkne kolorki nieba, jak to o zachodzie bywa.

You need one photo with more lights in the foreground to get a realistic and nice result with HDR. if you have the 4 photos, you can send me them and I will put "my" version and understanding of hdr in your workshop.

Ależ wrażenie wspaniała przestrzeń w bajecznych arwach. Wyważony HDR - nie sprawia wrażenia grafiki a to duży plus.

Bardzo dobrze poradziłeś sobie z tematem. Kolory ładnie nasycone i co ważnie nie przesłodzone, o co łatwo w tego typu ujęciach.

Superb sunset, very vividly colored and great reflections on the water.
The structure in the bottom adda nie sense of perspective to show just how high you were situated.
It's unfortunate the horizon is angled, I'll try a workshop if you don't mind.
