Ardnamurchan Point being the most westerly place on the Brittish mainland juts right out into the Atlantic. At this tiem of year the climate is ver changabe and the afternoons cloudless skies were replaced within 15 minutes by a very heavy squall.
This shot shows the weather ron approaching the lighthouse; 10 minutes later there was no visibilty, torrential rain and a gale |
