Photographer’s Note
On the north side of the remote Ardnamurchan peninsular in the highlands of Scotland, looking over to the Isles of Rhum on the left, and Eigg on the right.
The clarity of the light can be unreal if you are lucky, and on this spring day the light was as good as it gets.
The sea really was this blue!
Scanned from negative, cropped slightly, adjusted curves and I used Neat Image to try and reduce a bit of noise.

Lovely shot, Brian, beautifully composed.
The colours have a natural vibrancy to them and the little white cottage and caravan are ideally positioned at the right of the frame with the blue water, blue mountains and blue sky as a backdrop. The little yellow van adds a welcome splash of foreground colour and interest.
Great shot.

A great scenery in vibrant colours that is ideal for large sized wall calendars. On the other hand it would look very depriving in rain and really makes you feeling blue.
