Good Morning Everyone,
A couple of days ago, I posted a shot of Jamaica Bridge, in Glasgow seen here . I wanted to show those of you who have never seen it, just what beautiful reflections can occur underneath it because of its closeness to the Caledonian Bridge (a railway bridge nearby).
If you look under the right hand arch, you will see a column from the Caledonian Bridge. All the rippling red lines are from this bridge, too.
Glasgow has an amazing 21 bridges crossing the Clyde River!
Have a great week, Bev :-)

Beautiful composition with great visual appeal. The tight framing is spot on with the details and the reflections displyed with excellent sharpness and very well realised colours. The view through the arch at the right has provided a very nice depth to the picture.
Thanks for sharing and have a nice day.

love these reflections, so many shapes and distortions that are never repeated so a unique capture each time. This old bridge looks wonderful and all the more so when cropped and presented like this. An arty and compelling image.
Enjoy the week ahead - B.

Hope that you both had a good time in Glasgow. Time flies, it's coming and it's gone...
It's a beautiful shot! I especially love the reflections on the water, wonderful color and detail.
A very good afternoon to you.

This is a quite different "take" on Jamaica Bridge from your last shot but no less appealing.
The bridge itself makes a fine frame for the lovely and colourful reflection in the water of the Clyde - especially the red reflections from the nearby railway bridge. Fine composition, lovely light and colours and excellent technical quality too.

A beautiful warm vs cold colour contrast between the reddish brown bridge above and the blue skylight reflected in the water below. Excellent repetition of the 3 bridge spans and superb sharpness and wide angled cropping. Tfs!
