[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
As planned, I was up in Scotland on the weekend and intended to go back to the Forth bridges which I did on Friday evening. It was bitterly cold, near to freezing and I went out to capture scenes of the bridges. I went to park in North Queensferry (also home of Gorden Brown (Great Britains Prime Minister)) and I came across an old pier down near the Forthroad Bridge which had many old rusty boats. This boat caught my eye and needed to be caught on film. Using long exposure of 7 seconds, I was able to capture this scene with my analogue Canon. I wanted a rustic scene for the boat to get the right mood, and I think it worked well. The stars above with the common constellation was a bonus :-)
It was amazing getting these photos developed, for it was near to pitch black down at the dock so when i got the photographs back, it was fasinating to see the detail of the boat itself.

i like the texture and the tones in this picture. and it has much atmosphere.

Hi Paul,

An extremely facinating picture with an over ages aspect and nothing in the frame can proove he date of this shot. The wooden texture of the hull is very well rendered and I almost ffel it when I pass my hand on the screen :)

Very well done !
