Photographer’s Note
Another picture taken a few days ago of the pretty little fishing village of Pittenweem in the East Neuk of Fife. The Fife coastline, running north towards St. Andrews and the Firth of Tay, can be seen to the right.
This picture was taken from the east harbour wall and I was standing near to the old light at the harbour entrance. Actually, you can see a good aerial view on GoogleEarth if you click on the [map].
Shot in RAW and converted and edited in PSE6.

John,
This is a well composed shot using the stone wall to lead the eye to the town. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. The deep blue sky provides a nice backdrop for the shot.

Hi John,
great composition, I like especially the gorgeous light, a nice view over the village with a fine textured foreground.
Kind regards,
Günther

Hello John,
Ill say one thing for this new site, it certainly displays phtos much better. This is shown to be so full of colour. The light and colour of the houses shout out.The light and shadow on of the wall and path are perfectly exposed and the blue of the sky a summery gift.
regards,
Bev
