Charriots of fire! Photo

Photographer’s Note

St Andrews...home of the golf (Scottish Gaelic: Cill Rìmhinn) and one of the most lovely places I've ever visited...unfortunatelly with a horrible bad weather.

Where I took this picture? In its beaches, where the famous film "Charriots of fire" was released in 1981. Written by Colin Welland and directed by Hugh Hudson, it is based on the true story of British athletes preparing for and competing in the 1924 Summer Olympics. The film was nominated for seven Academy Awards and won four, including Best Picture. An excellent film and one of my favourites.

In the next days I'll post more pictures of this town...

Buen título para llamar nuestra atención, prueba conseguida. Y una foto de apariencia sencilla que mejora y mejora según te vas fijando en los detalles. Muy bien compuesta, expresiones simpáticas, óptima luz y colores muy naturales. En definitiva, un conjunto de cosas bien hechas.

These people can only be British. Almost cliché-like. A wonderful shot, even though the crop on the right is a bit tight. Nice title!

la foto m'agrada molt, sobretot pel lloc i si bé el temps no acompanyava gaire, per les expressions de les cares dels nens no semblava importar gaire!

..and the film had a Greek composer that is very famous and did get the Oscar (Vagelis Papathanasiou). Excellent moment and great movement in the picture as well as very good framing! Thank you for sharing! Regards Stella

Tienes ese don de fotografear
personas exaltandoles las emociones
y los gestos naturales. Me gusta,
en particular, la composicion de esta
imagen llena de vida y energia en un
ambiente muy relajado.
La calidad es excelente y la nota muy
informativa e interesante-- ya que no he
