Photographer’s Note

Here is a picture I took a few weeks ago at my friends wedding.

At a lot of weddings in Scotland there is usually Ceilidh dancing (traditional Scottish dancing). The music is usually played on an Accordion and a fiddle and other instruments. Although there are many music CDs of Ceilidh music, it's not the same as having a real live Ceilidh band.

The band here are called the Canongate Cadjers. They had an Accordion, a fiddle, an fantastic drummer and a guitarist. They put on a really good show! As well as the Ceilidh music, they also sang some Scottish songs which they did really well!

Check out the Workshop for a view of the whole band.
