Photographer’s Note
Africa meets Edinburgh as this woman prays during a meeting of Christians ,. She seemed completely oblivious to at least two photographers with our cameras trained on her.

Hi Bev!
As a native of the place, not surprizingly, most untouristy photos come from you. The focus on the "omnipotent lady" is great with sharp details and gorgeous colors, and the bokeh with the building and the photographer are genial and fun to see.
Best wishes,
Deniz

Hello Bev. So it can happen exotically dressed Africans. Two photographers are interested in this woman. The other photographer will you have also in the viewfinder. In any case, a total of interesting scene. Best regards, Wolfgang.

Hello Bev,
Another one of your funny little pictures, also one that touches my heart. Good colours too. Maybe we will see this from the reverse perspective one of these days.
Have a nice weekend,
Gert

Hi Bev,
I like the warm sunlight here and the very good portrait of this woman. I like the capture of the other photographer here and I also like the background of typical Edinburgh buildings. It seems quite obvious that I like this picture...
Kind regards
Gunnar

Hello Bev,
Very interesting that the other photographer has decided to record the same subject. Would that he were another TE member so that we could see his image of you!
The lighting strikes her face and her shiny clothing in a way that brings great life to the image. Her wrapt expression in prayer is finely captured.
I'd like to suggest a crop that tightens up the image, and at the same time strengthens the composition, by placing her clasped hands on to an intersection of thirds.
See WS.
Kind regards,
Peter.

Oh, that's a dandy one, Bev!
The colors are amazing. Wonderfully clear, outstanding sharpness and detail, well composed and I love the way you caught the other photographer taking a picture of her, too. :)) You do these shots so well. I love it. Many thanks and warmest regards,
Shelly

Hello Bev,
Wow! What a great shot! Not what you would expect to see in Edinburgh!
I love the intent expression on the lady's face: totally absorbed!
The details of her clothing are sharp and exotic.
The inclusion of the slightly blurred photographer in the b/g adds extra interest and depth to the shot. In fact the dof is perfect.
Have a good day,
Bev :-)
