Well, one moment you are lost, frustrated by the late hour, the poor light, the grim weather, the bickering kids, and then you drive past this - a godsend !
The boys could not get out of the car fast enough !
This will not win marks amongst the photo-genii of TE, but in the circumstances it pleases me.
A fourteen foot stump of what seems to have been a perfectly healthy beech tree, converted into a tribute to Julia Donaldson and her creations.
For the cognoscenti, WS portrays the missing character from the story.
