[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Dreish - Mayar, Glendoll, nr Dundee, Scotland

This very old rusting, cast iron fence post must have been up here in all weathers for many decades. The rust had oxidised to a hard smooth protective coating - it looked like it had been painted with protective lacquer.

It also marked the line of the route between Driesh and Mayar - two smaller Munro's on the eastern edge of the Scottish Highlands. A useful aid in misty conditions, not needed today.

Congrats,

SArhan.

Hi,
I like the contrast between the colours of the countryside and the 'defiant' looking manmade intrusion. Must have been hard work for someone up there in days gone by. Nice one.
Dougie.

Hi David, interesting iron fence in the border.Excellent composition with the background. Many regards, Rafael
