Photographer’s Note

From the Quaint town of Dumfries, Scottish Borders, a short drive towards Caerlaverock castle in the early morning took me along the River Nith. The scenery is quite weird, it is a river , but where is all the water gone ? The Caerlaverock Nature reserve is wetlands and salt marshes , famous for the Barnacle Geese which arrive in October, on vacation from the Arctic and for the Natterjack Toad, Britains most reclusive amphibian.
